And I really don't know, I was just posting up something I found interesting. They seem to have a much fun as we do and the FMBC members I've met are super nice. | | | Re: Full Moon Bus Club events | Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 6,014 Likes: 1 Vanthropologist | Vanthropologist Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 6,014 Likes: 1 | Test the waters, it wouldn't be a terrible thing if this worked out with the VW bus/van owners. We had 2 Westphalias at Vanfest this year. Our local large scale bookstore sometimes has 3 different VW bus magazines on the racks from Europe, they must be doing something right. | | | Re: Full Moon Bus Club events | Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 6,261 Bad Girls from New York, Bad Western Inn in IN. | Bad Girls from New York, Bad Western Inn in IN. We went to CITA one year and the boys had to run out to the local convenience store for a couple of small items. Well, they came back with 3 young dudes in a Dub! They paid the gate, stayed the rest of the eVANt with us, got all the Vanner info we could provide, and off back to AZ they went. They had lots of potenial and we would have loved to see them at any eVANt we went to.
Now that I have started out on a positive note--we see lots of things while traveling across the country attending eVANts or just visiting loved ones. We are friendly and my hubs always has a question about something for someone. One more than one occasion the approach has been made and we have been greeted with noses up in the air. And when inquiring about the Dub eVANts they seem to shut down. I know we don't have a VW, we have Chevvies! But we would never slam on someone like that.
I am just saying--be sure you double check and are sure they will be allowing other makes to come and visit.
Since I opened on a positive, I will close on one-- these guys need to know what we do--they would have such a great time with our VANNING stuff! I do believe we can get a few of them to attend some things somewhere--so, if you can make it out--call in advance to get all your questions answered and go show 'em how it's done!
Cherish your friends! HUGGS to all! Suzie
