Thanks. I like windows because you can see through them. Some bubbles showed up this morning that weren't there yesterday, but nothing too drastic.

My brother knows they are Street Van wheels and isn't interested in selling them. Sorry.

Finally, I will get started on my whistling fix this weekend! Thanks for the post and info. Hope it's generally the same for the GM's too.

I see the brother's van has the street van wheels. Would he consider selling them?

I'd rather have a J&J or Matchstick Gullwing

Anyone know if the locking latches can be swapped into '71-77 vent windows (which have non-locking latches)?

I don't see why not. If I am not mistaken, the doors stayed the same from 71 through the end of the line in 03. Sure the vent windows went away, but for the years that had the vent windows, I don't see why at least the glass wouldn't be interchangeable. So long as the 71-7 glass has the same oval drill-out for the latch mechanism, I don;t see why it wouldn't be swappable. Give it a try and report back!

I haven't had a chance to try it yet. My brother had to take his van back home and he lives 30+ miles from me. The next time i get my hands on the van I will give it a try.

Thanks Reed, instruction makes most jobs easier, that otherwise might be neglected.
