I would like to make it also.

Now it seems that the Columbus GoodGuys show is the same weekend as the Nats. So that Wednesday night could be very happening. GoodGuys has taken over the track on past Friday evenings for their own event.

Thanks to Jarvis' post today it inspired me to get back in touch with National Trail to confirm that we're good to go with this. I got the green light from them shortly after.

The ball is in our hands what we make of this. It was fun in 2011 when we did it and I'm hoping we can get a few more vans to run the track. One thing that was asked last time was for us to do a parade down the track with all the vans. I'll see if we can do to make that happen this time around.

I sent a message to John Jackson seeing if he'll be able to make it to this. He is one of the GoodGuys photographers so we won't likely see him at the Nats past Thursday if he's even able to make it. We got some rather memorable photos the last time we did this.

Unfortunately the racers aren't really into this. I'll give it a week, but without at least having the vans we had last time I'm not going to go out on a limb with this.

Doug, are you looking for the full blown race vans along with the street guys ?

I was hoping to get the race guys interested first which in turn would help with the street guys. Will give it another few days and see if I can get in touch with Tom the owner of Headstone/Blastro directly. Once again Blastro is doing the big show on the Saturday night so he wouldn't be running on the Wednesday.
