When Chris Farley talked about living in a van down by the river, did anybody else think that wasn't such a bad idea?

First engine I was ever inside, SB chevy.

Don't go too big or you will lose low end torque. If you call up Crane cams or Comp cams and tell them what you are wanting to do and what the engine is in they will sell a cam matched for you vehicle. They are usually really helpful. Would be a great time to install a new timing gear/chain set too. Edelbrock Performer cam and intake combo would be a nice setup for a van.

You won't be disappointed, but you might be happy with a simple muffler swap. I will be awesome driving around Scotland with that nice big American V8 sound in a nice big American van. | | | Re: What engine do i have | Joined: May 2012 Posts: 251 enthusiast | OP enthusiast Joined: May 2012 Posts: 251 | Yes it would sound great :-).
I think the performance muffler & air filter will be first. later i will look at Headers (do these fir into the engine by easily) but cam replacement might be to much work.
