Is there any difference between a GMC G1500/G2500/G3500 and Chevy G10/G20/G30?

Is it just a branding thing.

I ask as sometimes when online suppliers site they dont have a G10/G20/G30 model under chevy so wondering if i can look under GMC G1500/G2500/G3500

yes they is a differance.depending on the parts you are looking for
G10-15 is a half ton
G20-25 is a 3/4 ton with 5 lug wheels.
G30-35 is the heavy duty style van.
These vans can come with 6 to 8 lug set ups and the heavier duty floating rears.
box style vans can even come with dual wheels.....

Unfortunately for what ever reason the after market did not keep up with all of the changes GM made to there vans over the years.

Yes most of the parts are the same for one brand to another....just as the Astro is the same as the Safari....

But you will only be getting the Vandura and the Savana parts in the GMC brand for your Chevy

so a GMC G1500 = Chevy G10 from a parts perspective
a GMC G2500 = Chevy G20 from a parts perspective
a GMC G3500 = Chevy G30 from a parts perspective

"But you will only be getting the Vandura and the Savana parts in the GMC brand for your Chevy"

so is the GMC Vandura & Savana like the Chevy Beauville & Sport Van?

Yes.....watch the electrical....I had got a 3500 Vandura steering column and after the thing was done the black and red wire for the cruise control was backwards and fried the in line fuse ...

There are some differences....

It really depends on what parts you are looking for.
suspension parts will not inter change between a G35 and a G25,15
Engine tune up parts will.
Body panels will inter change though out all.
