My 2tonne trolley jack docent lift the wheels off the ground on the G30 and fear my 2tonne axle stands wont be strong enough if it did.

anyone (frscke1?) know what rating of axle stands i will need & what lift will get the wheels off the ground

2- two ton stands shouldn't have any problem supporting the rear of the van. I personally like the larger stands because of the larger base. Be cautious using jack stands on asphalt in the summer heat(don't know how hot it is there) they can sink in and become unstable. I generally use at least a 3.5 ton jack. No problem lifting my conversion van.

You should be good...just break all bolts loose before you lift...always put a block under the size of you so If the van rocks off you have a back up and you dont get crushed....your not lifting the whole van just the one side or just the rear....right

I was lifting the front. I wasnt sure where the jacking points were as the van didn't come with a jack so i was jacking up the front cross member (redarrow), im assuming this is wrong. can i jack the front here (blue arrow).

havent tried the back but the jack points are just on the axel right.

so 2tonne axel stands are ok for front and back ?

I have used both the crossmember and the control arm to lift. I try to lift the rear by the axle close to the leaf spring. Your 2 ton stands will be fine at either end.

If your doing the clip under the coils the blue arrow will compress the coil and put your tire into the wheel well...

I believe the red arrow area is toooo narrow and will rock back & forth....dont use either places

here is the original jack that comes with our vans...

The jack points are, Side of van along the frame
Behind front wheels and in front of rear wheels
