Here is my 1982 G10.
I am from Iceland so my english writing might not be that good.

Bought it june 29 2012, desided to start with the interior so I can use it as is this summer, but when winter comes I will repaint it.

The day I bought her

Came home, took some more pictures and changed the wheel covers.

It was full of mold and waterdamage on the inside from standing. Much worse in person.

So I started the rebuild of the interior. And note this is a budget build.

Now that everything was out that I wanted gone, let the rebuild of the interior begin.

Those seats came from an old Volvo 240
[Linked Image]

Didn't want them, had some seats from 1978 Nova laying around. desided to put them in instead.

[Linked Image]
Wasn't quite sure how I would mount them in so I decided to save that for later while I was thinking about it.

So I cleaned up the floor and put new carpet in.

And here is when I started on the walls
[Linked Image]

Somewhere in the meantime I desided to put the seats back in.

And the top, didn't know what to do with it, but found up in the attic an old blanket of mine.

And here you can see the side door

and more of the interior

Hit the jackpot ore so to speak. Got meself a couple of captein chairs, I am going to redo them red as the interior.

And this is what I have done so far will update as it goes on

thank you all for viewing.

Cool build!!

When Chris Farley talked about living in a van down by the river, did anybody else think that wasn't such a bad idea?

Thank you all.

The box in the back used to hold an LP tank I think it's called, for the stove that was in it and for the stand alone heating system. But now I use it for spare gas, tools and stuff. It's been proven very useful to have.

Thanks to you all, glad you like it.
Here are pics of what I did today.

drivers door
[Linked Image]

The storage unit. I will redo that again when I repaint the car. Didn't look quite as well as I imagined it would do.
[Linked Image]

the back almost readyy. I will not use this table so the plate that covers the backdoors and the foot under it will go eventually. And when I repaint the car, I will take everything out again and the inside of it will be painted red to match the interior. Haven't made up my mind what color it will have on the outside yet.
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

Here I wanted to do red/white stripes because of the stars in the back, but having difficulty finding the right fabrik for it.
[Linked Image]

And yeah also I put 2 inch sponge on everything and then the red fabrik over that.

That's it for now. I will finish the interior tomorrow, then start redoing the chairs and the cushions for the bed.
Hope you all like it. Will update as it comes along ;)
