I've added framing and cabinets with an overhead shelf in the back and down each side. Still not finished but I'm gettin' there. I put down the floor first Keith to set the cabinets on top of it. I wanted to build the frames for the cabinets with 1x2s and then cover the frames with bead board. To protect it while working I bought some of those interlocking pads that PepBoys sells to stand on and cushion your feet. They're cheap and I could use them later in the garage. I needed 'em too. That's pine flooring not hardwood so it's not as tough. I added a sleeping platform right before GSVR II in October and haven't worked much inside since. Had to rebuild the rearend: new axles, bearings, seals, clutch paks, wheel cylinders, brakes and u-joints. That slowed me down some. | | | Re: Working Inside | Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 2,699 Likes: 1 veteran | veteran Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 2,699 Likes: 1 | Looks good catfish.
I did my floor before the walls for the same reason, wanted the floor to go under the cabnets and the walls. | | | Re: Working Inside | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 41 journeyman | journeyman Joined: May 2006 Posts: 41 | Ill be doing this in the spring, thanks for sharing Pics are nice..when its time to gut Miss Piggy Ill take some too.
