I'm liking the look of this late model 8 lug. I realize they seem to have a larger fender opening so I may have to raise mine up just a little:

you can get 16.5 rims all day long but the tires for those rims are getting expensive cause they want to phase them out....

both my vans have 16 not 16.5 rims

Okay, after a ton of searching and thinking I may have come up with some wheels for this. How about some American Racing AR23's 16x8 with some Bfgoodrich radial t/a's 285/60-16's ? The Bfgoodrich tires have a 2403@35 weight rating, that seems enough for me. I don't think there should be any clearance problems but I am new to Chevy 1 tons and I'm no expert by far. I don't have the van yet to take any measurements. BTW, I also found some 295/50-16's... only made by one company. Any opinions?

Since this will be more of a daily driver van I decided not to go with any expensive wheels or hard to find tire sizes.
