I bought this Front Airdam 79-93 Dodge Full Size Van ( Independent Spoiler) from trucknvans.com a couple months back or so. I think this particular piece was intended for a lesser bumper than the optional one I actually have on my van. I had to make a few odds and ends to get it to mount but never altered the airdam itself. I started to do the work to get it on but my tranny decided to take a break halfway through. So thats why the dates from the camera on the pictures are so extended.

I bought a very cheap but impressive TCP Global touch up gun. It works real well. I also bought a quart of matched paint, hardener, etc. The paint stuff cost way more than the gun, fortunately I have most of it left over.

This is the first time I actually used a gun to paint. I did it pretty quick and dirty too. Spray can primer, some touch up, primer again then paint. No color sand on the paint or buffing. The rest of the van's paint is faded so I figured that would be more than good enough.

Here's the pics.

Finally mounted, the foggers are not actually wired up yet though.

Nice work! I am about to do this exact project on my Ford. I even got the same type of air dam from trucknvans.

Windows- they're what make a van worth owning!

Thanks everyone. I like the grill too Lukester. My factory chromed plastic one was falling apart so I bought a cheap silver painted version, painted it black and then laboriously applied vinyl pin striping. Plan to do the same to the tail light bezels eventually.

Looks good. The independant front spoiler on my '91 is a 3 piece. That one of yours looks much better.
