But I'm not exactly understand what means note "Will not fit factory roller cam applications".

Some SBC engines (305's)came with Roller cams from the factory. This cam will not work on this style of engine.

No, my engine works with flat-tapped cams.

I'd replace the entire block, machining will eat you alive, once they get the block they'll likely find it pretty well warped.

Hey all!
I got camshaft COMP Cams kit 12-305-2 [49]
http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/cam-specs/Details.aspx?csid=69&sb=2

Due to I need to replace my old valves, so please tell me, what Overall Valve Length should I buy? Because it's not stock camshaft at all, and I'm not sure about stock (4.911 in.) valve length.

Even withe shipping costs, a new crate engine might be the best option.. I have gotten engines from Europe and shipping wasn't cheap but I could live with it. Judging from the bottom end grenading, the top end probably isn't too happy. By time you get pay for all the other parts plus shipping and pay for the machine work, gaskets and assembly, is it going to be that much cheaper? I would do a crate engine. Good luck with it whatever you decide.

Unfirtunately, it's a little be expensive to bring here new engine due to Custom fee. Other hand I want to buld engine by myself - I understand that I may spend more money and time, but process is more important for me.
And other big success - I have all machine works with half price discount devil

In that case I would rebuild everything. New valves, springs, guides, seals and keepers on the cylinder heads. You might consider a stroker kit for the engine too. It would come with everything you need for the rebuild. Have a new engine internally with another 50 HP and 100 LB/FT of torque. Go big or go home. lol.
