I was wondering if any of you had a preferred route there from Portland, OR. I plan on taking my time and stopping here and there. Mileage is important of course, but if one way's better than the other I don't mind driving a little longer. Any thoughts?

No rental van this year..... I have not been farther west than Wisconsin driving YET. These is rumors of a van event in the Seattle area in a year or two. I really want to do that "Road Trip"
