The question is probably better asked in the astrosafari websites.
It is possible, but could be a bigger project than expected. Between the wires for the gauges, heater controls and the heater hoses, I dont know. Pretty sure doghouses are different.

Yes, you can swap dashes though. MAy require drilling a few new holes and a trim here or there, but it aint the worst thing to do.

The 85-94 dash bolts in under windshield, while the 96-2005 dash hangs on a bar that bolts in by the doors. Also, the duct work does not match up.
Sounds like he is going to make the newer dash work by using some of the old dash
