Replaced all the brakes this weekend (new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, calipers, etc). Went to bleed the brakes and can't get fluid to the rear. When I got the van the rear portion of the master cylinder was empty and the brake light was on. I believe (from my research) that the proportioning valve is not centered or not working but I can't find any info on re-centering it (I will replace it if I have to but really don't want to). Suggestions???? Thank you. | | | Re: Brake Help Please.... | Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 1,294 member | member Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 1,294 | Thats what it sounds like to me. I think Boot had a similar issue when he was doing the brakes on the Street Survivor...Maybe he has a bit on insight.

Chrysler tool C-4121
However, when that valve shuts it supposedly blocks fluid to the front, not the rear.
Open the one of the pass side rear bleeder screw and have someone slowly press down on the pedal (don't pump it). Repeat procedure until you get fluid, then move to the other side.
