well I have been doing weld type repair work for close to 30 years.I have used WD 40 as a penetrating oil and it has NEVER let me down......
If you spray this fluid on a rusty 1 inch bolt let it set and come back the next day with a 3/4 impact wrench and the bolt backs off clean......
If that is not penetration sorry, I really do not know what.
is.

But then what do I know.

I think slant 6's make great boat anchors

lol Ive used WD-40 for years too, i will say i think PB blaster is better in some circumstances, like on bike chains, kroil, PB, WD, whatever your choice is. F- it, im takin it to the exhaust shop. The van has running boards and my wrist has been bothering me lately making it difficult to crawl around onthe ground. Im gonna let my ink pen and check book do the muscle on this one. 99% of any other repair i tackle myself. I know my limits.

The ford 300 is a great motor, but i will agree (sorry Reed) about the /6. We all have our preferences, thats the great part of vanning, idividuality AND a common ground!

Just tried PB blaster my self.....
Does not really seam to work much better.
I have an 02 sensor that will need a heat wrench to get it out.
I don't crawl under any thing with out jacking it up on stands.
It's not a young or old thing. It's a work smart thing.

I have no problem spending money at a good shop for exaust work.
It has always been money well spent on my projects.

The trick to a lot of penetrating oils is to heat up the part then spray it on. The heat will pull in the oil
