It looks like some of the wires are ripped out completely. Is there an aftermarket harness out there or should I try to repair what is there? I plan on installing a 350 carbed engine with an automatic transmission(it originally had a 4.3 V6). | | | Re: Wiring problems '86 G10 | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 937 Likes: 36 old hand | old hand Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 937 Likes: 36 | well, there are places that will build you a new fatory harness as long as you have the old one(all the pieces anyway) that they can use as a model. I would check out the parts yards and try and find a factory harness on a scrap yard van....I would think maybe 86's are still out there.....I would think that would be your best bet. I doubt if there are aftermarket replacement harness but would not hurt to do a search on the net........
Recently purchased (10-2021) a 1991 Chevy G-20 “Shorty”. Past vans are a 1976 Chevy G-10 (purchased new in 1976 & sold in 1995). A 1978 Chevy G-20 Shorty purchased in 2010 and sold in 2015.
