New Weels for my van

howdy all i will be buying some new weels for my van 76 chevy and i was wandering if any one knows how wide of a rim i can go with on the ass end i
don't want to rub the finder well will a 10" rim work or do i need to go to a 8" weel thanks for any info...

are you trying to stay inside the wheel well or outside with flares

mr Truckin the van will have a set of air bags
so it will have to be inside the wheel well thanks for info

on mine we are moving the spring like they did on the 70s van, we are figureing on 19x12 or 19x13

sounds like you are doing a sub frame like a pro streat or are you moving the spring perch to the inside of the frame what kind of wheels will you use thanks for any info

looks like im going to use Budnick they will make a 19 inch wheel 12or 13 wide with whatever back space i need, we are moving the springs in and building a notch for the frame rail, the tubing the inside.in the hot rod van post i left rob the air ride front bag kit part number

weird harold,dosent your 76 chevy have molded flares?(it looked like it in the pictue you posted) If they are it will look funny with the tire tucked inside of the fender wells and a set of empty flares hanging out...........Wookee

I know still thinking on the hole air bag thing i here a lot of bad things about them mybe i will just go with a drop spindle and a nice set of 8s on the front and a set of 10s on the back old school rake style

harold ask any thing you want about bags, i have an 02 f150 supercrew thats bagged 2 employees one 2000 chevy and a 1983 chevy pu all them have a different bag systems on them.
