Well, I guess when I said "Conversion Van" site, I meant that having a real (full size) van and making modifications eventually turns it into one, so to speak.
Tried to post pictures, but it appears you can't just upload them from a local computer, have to have them on another site and then insert the link?
Had the van for 2 years now, drove it a lot, but now due to the excessive repairs only on the weekends for camping (hauling stuff), and maybe once in the winter when visiting family. Great to be able to sleep in.
We had to put a lot of money into it to keep it running. Just yesterday we had to invest another $350 for repair, and at the same time, something else broke.
So as of right now, the van is really only being used for weekend hauling. No long trips as cruise control went out.
That hit us by surprise. Oh well.
Thank you all again for the nice welcome.
Greetings!

Anyhow, wifey and I crunched numbers, spent well over $4,000 in the last 2 years in replacing what we thought would be everything. And still no end. As said, already spent over $1,000 this year, and May is not even over yet. And this is a 1999 vehicle!
So we decided it is time to part. Can't afford it financially anymore.
Good luck to you all. Keep those vans on the road, in my opinion, they beat any small camper or RV.

I guess this is just one of those times when things area really bad. I post a question in the general area and see if I can get some input on the issue.
Thanks all!
