I think id have to move the spare though, im a little too tall to share space with it. I actualy sleep with my head at the back doors, and my feet twards the front. The pillows are just thrown to the side in the pictures. I'm 6'-3", so my feet hang off a little bit, but it is still perfectly comfortable. I thought about reconfiguring it, but if I took the box out, it would give the chick more room to run away... It did have rustprofing done, and a Macco type paint job in the late '80s. I'm not sure why he repainted it, it might be because he wasnt satisfied with the high top & flare paint match. It was always grey, but I think the body has more flake than the jams. | | | Re: Here's my toy.... Welcome to Vannin!!

We enjoyed the hell out of it when he was still around. The first time I was at a drag race was the Norwalk World Nats, I was 13, and will never forget pulling on the grounds in the passenger seat. I still get teary every time I go there with this.
He wouldn’t have wanted it to go to anyone else. I'm glad mom saved it from the plumbers that were planning on gutting it, and hauling pipe around. | | | Re: Here's my toy.... I also like the in dash cb and the radio being overhead. Im 6'2" and i think id have to move the spare to. | | | Re: Here's my toy.... I can see your Dad really loved it and kept it up. I try to do the same with my 83, but I don't think any of my sons would want to keep mine around. Have a great time working on it and driving it around. I would love to put a higher top on mine, but then it wouldn't be able to fit in my garage!
