To the members viewing my post: My mounting bars for the racing harnesses are not the safest or strongest design. The cross bar should be just below the head rest. This would be the safest & smartest location. If you are building a roll bar for safety, in any vehicle, I do not recommend my design.
This is my summer toy, not a drag racer. I am not even fast enough to require a roll bar.
This is not directed at anyone on this website. I just had a problem with a member from an Astro website.
This website is the greatest.

getting closer
mocked up fuel cell, will be mounted under floor

marine gas filler, will be mounted in drivers side quarter panel

modified center consoles, cut off rear cup holders and cut an inch of bottom to fit roll bar

modified side skirts for oval exhaust tip and made template for heat shield, doubles as a cover for cutout.

I have to pay a shop to to it, dont have the resourses.
This is biggest expense, $625, but it will be worth it. It will be approx. 18 gallons, hidden under floor and wont have to open back doors to put gas in.
