FYI- this means your van now has a 727 in it if the original front yoke was too small.

Got the stupid sending unit for the coolant temp installed. Someone apparently took out a plug or something that wad in the intake and replaced it with a threaded fitting. My thought was that it was the coolant temp sender, i was wrong and found the actual sender, but not before i pissed off the guy at auto zone until he found me one that fit the bigger hole. So now i have 2 coolant temp senders. One for back up lol

ah ha! That makes sense. Now it will run off the factory guage. It aint a racecar, dont need a bunch of guages all around. I got oil/water/amps and fuel, thats all i need.

Ok, so on to the next issue. Apparently the trans is stuck in gear. I dont know if i am looking at it wrong or what, but i cant get it to shift gears by hand. Anybody got a pic of the shift mechanism i can see for reference?

Can you move the shift lever on the trans by hand with the shift linkage disconnected?
