Found this out just now, Gman has just been diagnosed with cancer and is selling his prized vans. Gman has made a huge contribution to vanning these past years with his Bakers Earlies event in Michigan. The vintage-van.com vanners are rallying to help him out. Check out the thread here : http://vintage-vans.forumotion.com/t28129p15-could-somebody-on-this-forum-help-out-gman

Here's Chris' van as shot by John Jackson during the 2011 Nats on our way to National Trail Raceway.

Edit: This van is no longer for sale but his project 1st generation Chevy with some very serious hardware for it is still for sale.

Chris had sent out an email to Vanners a couple days ago explaining what is going on with him. He said that Billski will be running Bakers this year instead of him and any help on our part would be greatly appreciated if possible. He said if he was feeling well enough he would be out for a visit that day. Also, camping at G-Mans house the night before is canceled. He opened his yard to us Vanners last year and the BBQ was a huge success.
This year marks the 8th Annual Bakers show. Chris also stated that he would love for this evant to continue in the future.
I haven't been able to think of much else since I heard this news.
G-Man is a wonderful man that works hard for us Vanners. If it weren't for him, there would be no Vintage Vans parked high up on the hill on top of the huge car show at Bakers. We all wish him the best and he will be in my prayers daily.

So sorry to hear. Good luck G-man, here's to hoping you can knock that cancer out.
