Replace that B & T joint with a traditional u-joint setup. I've done this in the past with great results. First thing you'll need is the flange. However, I also strongly recommend swapping the old 727 or 904 out with an A904T (but use the old tailshaft for the trans mount, if possible.) Better gears, better clutch packs. An A500 would be better, but you would have to fabricate the trans mount.
