| | | Did anyone ever find a source for Flip-Window seals ? | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 218 enthusiast | OP enthusiast Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 218 | The one's on my 87 are really starting to become an issue and something needs to be done. I don't want to see a 8/10 original interior damaged by something so silly. | | | Re: Did anyone ever find a source for Flip-Window seals ? | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 2,847 Likes: 42 veteran | veteran Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 2,847 Likes: 42 | | | | Re: Did anyone ever find a source for Flip-Window seals ? | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 218 enthusiast | OP enthusiast Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 218 | Do you know which one it is? I don't know squat about this stuff and have no idea what I'm looking for.
All I know this has been one big huge PITA to try and figure out so far. | | | Re: Did anyone ever find a source for Flip-Window seals ? | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 2,847 Likes: 42 veteran | veteran Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 2,847 Likes: 42 | I realized after I posted that you might be talking about the driver's and front passenger triangular windows.
I don't know about those seals, sorry.
If your talking about the rear door windows, a little measuring of your current seals shouldn't be difficult | | | Re: Did anyone ever find a source for Flip-Window seals ? | Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 3,473 Likes: 1 pooh-bah | pooh-bah Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 3,473 Likes: 1 | Have you checked your dealer? They have never failed me yet. When I painted the Phoenix in 2008 My dealer had ALL the wind lash and kitty whiskers and door seals brand new. Bought then and not for a rip off price. See your Dodge dealer. The more you buy the better price you get. I get everything at wholesale now. and beats the Autozone"s price By far and better , made in the USA.

I am a vanner, Promise me the world, give me nothing, I'll be back ... next year ! | | | Re: Did anyone ever find a source for Flip-Window seals ? | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 218 enthusiast | OP enthusiast Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 218 | Ok, I think I have a part number.
GM Chevy P/N 12384846
Comes in a bulk box. Unsure how many feet yet. Prices range from $170 to $450 online. It's a hell of a spread LOL!
As best I can tell, the seal is used on all 6 flip windows.
If there's anyone here that can do more with that part number, dig in! Let us know what you come up with. | | | Re: Did anyone ever find a source for Flip-Window seals ? | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 218 enthusiast | OP enthusiast Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 218 | Especially if anyone can come up with the # of feet in the box. That's my main hurdle right now.
Hell, if it's 100 feet I figure that will do 2 vans. I figure it will take approximately 40 feet to do 6 windows. | | | Re: Did anyone ever find a source for Flip-Window seals ? | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 218 enthusiast | OP enthusiast Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 218 | It's really a crying shame this is still an issue. Still need these, still can't find them.
I can't believe someone can't make a damn seal for us. | | | Re: Did anyone ever find a source for Flip-Window seals ? | Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 12,107 Likes: 37 Maniac | Maniac Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 12,107 Likes: 37 |
