Plus if I get it wrong I can figure it out easier. now I just gotta find the GPS antenna for the HU and the navigation discs to make it work as well as find out why it won't work with my ipod I think it's because I have the ipod touch 4g and they were originally made for the ipod classics but I'll have to dig for that one. Thanks guys! In a few months will be putting in a subwoofer or 2 and replacing the back speakers as they are blown but at least they work now haha. I saw this great idea helping my sis out couple days ago and wished I had gotten a picture, but this guy had a vandura and had cut holes in the barn doors and put 2 10's in there. Only downside though they were torn to shreds from stuff bouncing around and getting hit. I loved the idea though, just put some caps over them and good to go. I thought I'd do something like that but then I'd have to crank up the amp bit higher to get that thick sound to the front but with my son being closer I don't want to blow out his ears so to speak, besides I'm not looking for a lot of "nigga nigga thump thump" i just want a good quality sound. So I though I'd build a sub box with 1 ten behind the doghouse and make it into a console as well to hold more of my trash and goodies, build it up and make it look clean. I've got a ton of ideas floating around and I think I like the doghouse idea more so. Anybody else got any ideas?

This in between my seats in the 93 it is hooked to a 700 watt amp...NO subs and it gets loud enough that I cant hear for 10 min if I crank it....4- 6x9" & 4- 4" + the 4 3x5" ft & rear...cap the highs to the 6x9 and cap the lows to the 4"....amp is mounted on the ft side of the spr box.. this in in the 92....No subs....with 2 more 6x9 in the barn doors....

I bought a Harbor freight dremel tool (hey I only needed it for an hour) I started cutting and grinding and I didn't get very far in fact after an hour of working I didn't get very much done SO I took a small pair of vice grips and bent the bottom cross member/bar back and down to make it fit. As this is just a trial fit, I went ahead and attached to wires to make it work. But now that it's in there I just have to work on the mounts and trim pieces. More Pictures to follow along process! !!! Looking good.... Gotta fix the leaking radiator I pray it's only a bad hose and not the pump as it's leaking from that general location as well as give it a good flush, new t stat and an oil change is little past due too. Gotta keep it running if I want to keep listening to my tunes. So it may be a while to finish it as I'm trying to learn fiber glassing same time OR just cut the trim piece to fit, not sure which way I want to go yet. most likely trim piece because it's cheap and will cover the mounts and still look OK.

But it's done and I also deleted the smog pump this thing is running so good I feel as if it's going to break now lol. Pictures will be coming shortly with stereo again once I get my internet back again. Which will be tomorrow evening.

Lots of things have slowed me down in this process to include mechanics of the van itself been a real nightmare. Wood trim pieces I found at the JY while looking for anew rim, I'll be going back out there once I'm hired for this AC job and completely redo the interior (starcraft is that's a good hint) I found blue power LEATHER captain seats, all 4 in 7/10 condition with wall mount/floor mount seat belts instead of seat mount like mine (can't swivel) and I'm blabbing.... Enjoy the pictures! Anyways! here's the latest pics. With trim... trimmed to fit on the sides at least. ----------------------------------------------------------------------Hula doll---------------------------------------- And a mock up with wood trim gotta love JY finds! Screw it while I'm here might as well post up this mock up as well
