They do as they please, who's gonna stop them, you can't afford to protest, they don't care because you have to have it, you can't sit at home. The oil companies have boasted how cheap it is in the US, hinting how lucky we are, but it drives the economy, when it goes up, the back lash drives everything up, groceries have already started rising! I don't go anywhere, I sit at home, if it hit $5 I won't be able to survive.

This morning at the ESSO where I fueled up $1.23.9 reg Lt,$1.25.9 med LT,$1.27.5 sup LT $1.37.9 Lt Diesel. Irving sign read $1.24.8 Lt reg $1.36.3 Lt Diesel.By this afternoon ESSO sign read $1.24.8 Lt reg.
Last night on the CBC news the gas debate rose it's ugly head again,New Brunswick convenience store owners were complaining to the government they need a fixed lower price on fuel like we do for highest price,so they can compete. The government said they would look at it,but by the time the evening news came on they had done a 180 and said they were not going to look at it.An informal poll done by the CBC had an 86.6% of people who answered said they didnot want a fixed price on lower gas prices.I understand these small businessmen need to make money to stay open.A spokes for these store owners gave a dire warning about stores closing across the province. Why don't the oil companies to sell their retailers fuel at a cheaper price so they can compete. That was a question I would like to have been asked by the news caster.
