I am 6 foot tall my self and sleep in the back of my early.
The front panel of the bed folds up to make an extension for the platform over the fender wells.....

What type of seats are going to run in the center?

A/C,tilt, and cruise.how rough can that ride be ?

It will have 2 buckets seats that match the fronts. I need to have seats in back for grand daughter amd nephews.

With piecutters in the front big fatties in the rear, tubbed is not a smooth ride. It can be bouncy, doesnt track very well, too much tread on the road in back and not enough in the front.

I almost forgot, I have an overdrive transmission. Unlike the 3 speed auto that was in other one, should be able to drive on hiway at a decent speed.

Thank you for compliments.

More progress:
Painted frame & wheel tubs with Chassis Saver, then painted tubs with rubberized coating for sound deadening.

Dragged 85 Astro up onto trailer, just need to take spindles off.

plans changed on the mounting bar for 5 point harnesses. I decided to lower the bar and mount vertical bars. The bars angle up, matching the rear of the seats. They are capped and have a nut welded to the inside.

Thanks

The doors have rust or bondo, pretty much reason I gave up on this Astro. In the long run, going to the rust free Astro will save me money.

I am working on it as much as possible, want it done. Tonite, will we working on a mock up of the fuel cell.
