Very nice, well laid out Conversion Van you just scored. Personally I am not crazy about the A/C unit.If it works for you work with it.
Nice Score....

I got to lookin at the AC unit yesterday and it drains onto my chrome spare tire ring and its starting to discolor it plus i will probably only be able to use once or twice a year so the AC unit is coming out. Hope I can do it without messing up any paint.

I can take them out, lay down the rear bench toss in a throw rug and it will be just like back in the day. I, m going to check it out and see if maybe I can build some sort of (safe) removable bar to go against the wall behind the drivers seat. You know, have a convertable conversion van. The original pop-out glass came with the van. Never have had one before what do y'all think about that? i would put in a Train central air unit | | | Re: Captain E's new van | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 21,211 Likes: 25 Supreme Master | Supreme Master Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 21,211 Likes: 25 | Nice score..Congrats! Wow, it even has a self contained boat on top that you can take down for water sports fun! JUST KIDDING, those "hi tops" always look like a boat upside down on top to me. Maybe it's because I've hit my head a few too many times without one LOL!
Congrats! It seems like you've found what you wanted without having to do all the work getting it there, just enjoy.
Oh, lose the window A/C unit, it ruins an otherwise nice looking van IMO.
