does any one know where i can get a lift kit for a 96 ford windstar? does it share a chassi with another vehicle?

the WINDSTAR. . . I do not THINK it shares a chassis with anything else, but I would not be surprised to find out I was wrong on that.

I heard the Aero Star shared a chassis with the ranger, but not sure how true that is.

Very true there Fester that is why they came in "AWD" Ford did a lot of that...Using one part on a 100 other vehicles.

So if I bought a AWD Aero-Star I could use a Ranger lift kit and have a COOL Aerostar? SWEET !

I think i read the Windstar a platform with a Taurus .......They are almost dinosaurs up here as the rust issues on the rear suspension caused a Ford buyback program....I don't think any sort of fooling with the suspension is prudent now lol...especially as it is hard to lift the Front Wheel Drive..

Mounting the body on a pickup frame may be the way to go..

Yea but the recall is on 98 and up my 96 wasn't in it and i checked on it and so far the rear end is fine i got my wife a newer car and im driving the van and want to turn it into the man van and have it for when we go to truck ins with the inlaws.. so any help would be great evan if you know a place that can make them custom would be sweet thanks
