Alright being so nice out today i wanted to play around with my Hinges .
I need to make them open exact and parallel so i cut a 14 inch square tubes and lined everything up .
Now i'm working on wood and a pick nick table so i'm not 100%comfortable on welding it up solid at this point . I'll have to see about using a buddies steel level table to check them out . But over all i think they came out very good they look great , i just have to see if they work great lol .
Once i check them i'll start with the install of the suicide hinges . They are just tacted together at this piont till i see if the are 100% true .

It's hard to tell from the pics if you have but you might want to cut those apart and clean the yellow chromate before burning those all the way around. Zinc poisoning is pretty nasty.

I wanted to Thank Ivan and Ken for locating some parts for me an taking the time to remove them yay
I went out to Kens Saturday to pick them up in the morning and i couldn't wait to get home and start doing something . How ever the weather was a bit cold and i only got so much done . I did get a filler panel so i can make a 3/4 door and drip rail sections . It was trimed and fitted in to place but hats all i can do for now . Bob is making me a small part for the top of the filler panel so i can fill the gap between the roof and the panel .
Then come sunday i was set to work on the van all day but i ended up taking it kinda easy ( Ok so i'm in a lazy mood today LOL )
I did try to make a corner section for the filler panel but i can't do much with out the part Bob is making for me .
I Also pulled the van out of the gargage for the first time since winter set in .

The parts i picked up :
