Nice mix of the old with the new.

can't wait to see more of what you do to it... That is a 2nd gen (67-70) doghouse, it will not fit in the 1st gen (64-66) doghouse due to the width of the motor. You can see in the pictures where the floor was cut wider to clear the exhaust manifolds and to match to the 2nd gen doghouse width. Ken, it is a little tight, coil packs get close to the doghouse on the drivers side. may have room for a Viper V10 but someone would need to give us one to try! Galaxy, yes, that is a late model fuel injected motor, plans are to also use the 4L60E electronic controled tranny but we will not be using the drive by throttle yet. We will have the computer reprogrammed to what we need. | | | Re: Would you consider this a "Barn find"? 65 Chevy | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 28,125 Madman! | Madman! Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 28,125 |

That's what I wanted to do with my Early Dodge, until I found out a totaled Viper would still cost me $10k So I opted to drop my stroked 440 in it instead. Now to just find the time to get back to it | | | Re: Would you consider this a "Barn find"? 65 Chevy | Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 3,233 pooh-bah | pooh-bah Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 3,233 | Just use some of this and you're ready for show & shine | | | Re: Would you consider this a "Barn find"? 65 Chevy | Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 18,213 Likes: 2 Supreme Master | Supreme Master Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 18,213 Likes: 2 | Just use some of this and you're ready for show & shine Yeah right
