Alrighty , well I started on my head lights on Friday I thought I would be done by now on Sunday .
As it turns out according to my drawling I had the lights above the normal light bucket area .. So with that I shot my self in the foot ! I had to cut out above the old light buckets just to move them up . And in doing so I had to cut in to both the inner fender and the header or radiator panel .
this meant I had to box all that in to keep out as much water as possible .
Fist I cut out some buckets from an 86 dodge van that uses the big square lights . I cleaned them up and rounded them out better .
I start to find there happy place :
Now it gets very Ugly :
I make little boxes and start to fill in the inner fender .
It starts to look better now :
Before that I dropped a little box down in side the fender so now it's time to go fishing and 15 minutes later out comes the catch of the day .
Now here is the light bucket in place with the inner fender sealed up , I do have a bit more work to do on the other side but i'm now ready to start welding the bucket in . All this just to move the lights up 3/4 of an inch .
