Wheels before: Wheels after cleaning: This was just a quick cleaning with a sponge and fine steel wool. I'll keep working on them. The van had 10 years of dirt and moss on it that washed off well. There is very little rust on this van...I do have a few spots to attend to but very little. | | | Re: My new 77 Dodge project!!!! | Joined: May 2010 Posts: 2,820 veteran | veteran Joined: May 2010 Posts: 2,820 | thats a big difference , looks like that van is in really good shape for setting outside for ten years . | | | Re: My new 77 Dodge project!!!! | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 2,825 veteran | veteran Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 2,825 | Rims came bac real nice man! hows dry rot on tires? One tire is a different brand and flat and won't hold air. The front windows are metal and the three holes I was told were made from 3 different size exhaust pipes. It's about a 3/4 inches thick. The body cleaned up pretty good but I have a few small rust spots to take care of and I want to add a roll pan and mold the flares in so I will be putting the whole van in primer until I figure out what I want to do for paint. As for price, I paid $2,400. | | | Re: My new 77 Dodge project!!!! | Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 6,258 Likes: 164 Master Metal Sculptor | OP Master Metal Sculptor Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 6,258 Likes: 164 | OMG that came out nice , hey want to trade a chevy ?
