Sorry to hear about the mishap but glad you back on it. Here is a pic of the rear of your van and it looks like its in the same show / spot. [img:center] [/img] this is also a much better looking paint job. I agree....I really dislike the current paint job. I eventually want to paint it one color and maybe add some graphics. I like the color of it before. | | | Re: My new 77 Dodge project!!!! | Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 706 old hand | old hand Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 706 | The color looks to be the same color as my 77 with some graphics added. Its called Dark Russet Sunfire Metallic. Not quite brown, not quite Maroon. My vote is take it back to the original color cause that van is really sweet looking in its old skin (but keep the duck!).
Good work getting her running, Im always watching for more pictures on this one. Its one sweet survivor. "Trendkiller" 1995 Chevy G20 "Southern Gentleman " 1978 Ford E150 Custom Matt 8-0-2% The Vanished of MA/VT

Hey Munz did that picture come from Bob Morgan's picture collection ? The picture Lee posted is one of mine from the Nations in ohio from the late 80's. Lee sorry to hear about the battle scar. I really like the "shorty" Gull Wing on the rear doors. Once you dig deeper into this van there should be plenty of the original color still on the interior sheet metal. ........Wookee

The guy I bought it off of had a shop that installed car stereos and he had a massive system in this van and painted it to something he thought would be catchy to the young crowd he was marketing to. I think it looked WAY better in a solid color with a small stripe down the side. I am thinking of repainting it one color and possibly adding some stripes/graphics. Just don't know what color | | | Re: My new 77 Dodge project!!!! | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 5,265 pooh-bah | pooh-bah Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 5,265 | Sorry to hear about ur mishap but hey its a scar to go with the van ur doin all the work on and its urs..
