the out side of the van looks SWEET.
The pliad dash would have to go......
I wonder what color vinyl is under all that uglyness?.
Nothing as nice as a Van with a fresh strong running V/8......

Now that I posted the past pics you can see that I am ready to figure out exhaust and will need all you chevy guys to help! I had a set of Flowtech headers for a prior camaro project and just can't get them between the frame rail. I knew I would not be able to use the manifold off the 305 (the dipstick issue). I am doing side pipes so I do not want long tube headers. I know some have tried the shorty and block hugger headers that did not work. I would like to keep cost around $200, I found some early Corvette manifolds at a decent price has anybody tried them? the link is below.

They did make a set of long tube headers to fit a 3rd gen Chevy. You need to check with Hooker or Headman who have been making headers for a long time.
To be honest after running a set on a 3rd gen.Unless your engine is a high horsepower monster a set of factory down and out the back cast iron manifolds will do just fine.
Add a set of 21/2 inch pipes and a quality set of mufflers you will have lots of trouble free miles.
One of the biggest issues with long tube headers on a van is heat sink of the started. They also make the started harder to pull or change out.
Sorry the corvette manifolds will not clear the cross member/sub frame......
