I had the opportunity to use one of the promo cards earlier this week. I was out for a van ride through the park and I saw a really nice Chevy Express conversion van. I pulled over and did the "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" The dude was a long time van owner and said he attended some runs many years ago. He had no idea that we still have van runs. I left him with a promo card, hopefully we'll see him on here.

We had a wedding this past Saturday, one of our club members sons. There were several current and past members and a couple other couples that used to go to evants. I passed out 12 of the cards and everyone was very impressed with the quality and appreciated the info. They all new vanning was still around but didn't realize that there was as much going on as there is. 2 of the couples were from Wisconsin and said they may come to the Nats. Some of you may remember Bird and his Van, "Baby Grand" '76 black shorty ford. very nice van was in several shows. He still has it. Him and Wilson and their families made it to several Nats among other eVants.

Well it looks like I will have enough orders to get an order place for next week. If anyone wants to jump in on this order let me know ASAP. Most likely I will not be ordering again for a little while. Spring is here and we need to promote. Get your council to order a bunch for the whole group like many have done already.

Many are asking the cost on the new orders. Here they are again!

OK here is the current update on ordering additional cards. As I mentioned originally the first order a couple put money into the cost to keep the cost down for everyone. For a new order I broke the cost down to the actual cost. I am hoping that there are some Councils or larger clubs that would like to buy in bulk and hand them out to their members.

I have three vanners who want the cards for their clubs and the minimum order is 2500 but the more we can order the more cost goes down. If I can get an order for 5,000 or more cards the cost for 500 will be $45.00 & postage for 1000 it will be $85.00 and postage. 500 have been fitting in a Medium USPS Bulk Box and that cost is $12.00 and the 1000 needs to go in the Large USPS bulk and I think the cost on the is now $16.00.

If money is sent and I am able to get them cheaper because of the qty. ordered I will send the extra back with the post cards. This is not a money maker in any way but a way to promote professionally when we are out on the road.

As of now I have an order from MA from WA 1000
Tumbleweed has an order 500 or 1000
Gary Blake from MA for 1000

That will get me enough to place the order which will take place next week!
