my dad had a 79 dodge that he did up himself and we went camping and traveling around in but my brother was the one who got it when dad decided to sell it
look forward to seeing your pics

If it was mine I'd go for a paint scheme like this but hey that's me. | | | Re: A few pix of my '75 Dodge blank canvas Van | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 1,105 Likes: 1 old hand | OP old hand Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 1,105 Likes: 1 | Thanks all for the complements. The inside maybe a little wild, but you only live once, so have fun!!!
Now the outside has to match. We are doing the Just Passin' thru with psychedelic mushrooms in the side corners as I posted in the last post pics I did. We are working out the rest. I was thinking along the same lines lostinthe70eees.
I was thinking of a band higher up on the belt line then the pic you posted. It would ether be a band that is of metallic reds, browns and oranges. Blending together from the outside in and wrap completely around the van.
The other is make a band in the same area as stated before, but fill it with a web gun, acetylene smoke and some metallic colors. Ether way it is going to be wild.
So now my van will be named and known as Just Passin' Thru I think it sounds CoooooooL!!!! What do you guys think?
It is better to have Van'd once in your life, then to never had Van'd at all! | | | Re: A few pix of my '75 Dodge blank canvas Van | Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 2,108 veteran | veteran Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 2,108 | I love anything that's psychedelic! Name sounds good to me, if you are not sure just take your time. Took me a year to think of the name for my van. I love that 70's van called "Van on the Run" thought that was a cool name, just like the song "Band on the Run" Either way I'm sure she'll look sweet. Love those Dodges!!!! Can't wait to see it all finished!! Then again you could have just simple name right to the point like this dude, THE BEER MAN! I bet this guy could party back in the day!

Well me and Matt were working out what to do and call the van. I stumbled across "Just Passin' Thru" awhile back. And was trying to see what it would look like on the van. We finally worked something out. So that's what I decided to call my van and have painted on it. Matt will be painting it on both sides along with other designs. We are still working on it. I added psychedelic mushrooms The van will be painted the same factory color, but metallic. Well here is what we have so far done with Photoshop.. We still have to tweak a few things. What do you guys think!!! Richard I thing dat "Jus passin tru" would look real sweet full size on rear gullwing door! 79 B-200

Or a van called "Pleasure Patrol" police theme black and white metal flake, old school gumball siren on top, full flares and side pipes with blue fog lights up front. Van 69 where are you?? Go ahead laugh at my photo shop skills!
