Not to much will get done this weekend , I have to catch up on spring cleaning and other projects needing some attention as well .
I did make a little time to tilt the back door in . I started off by cutting out notches on the sides and taking out just over an inch strip from the center .
I put a 2x4 inbetween the sections to hold it while i finshed with the grinder making the cuts flush with the door skin at the crease where the door will fold .
Once i was ready i took the same 2x4 and held in inside along the center with the edge of the 2x4 inside of the body line .
The i took the door and pulled it down towrds me easy and said a prayer as i was doing it .
Well God was listining , the door folded nicely .I just had to make it fit flush closed so i used vice grips on the drip rail to keep the top of the door in while i went in the van and made temporary brackets to weld on .
I didn't want to go to crayz because the door still has to be aligned and i can't really do that till the corners are welded up .
