I want a hot spark, was that van factory electronic ignition? Does the 4 barrel make that big of a deal over a 2, if so, could I go with a late model factory 4 intake and carb? I want mine to remain stock looking, just not sound or run like it, I'm going for power.

Its easy just to swap the distributor and box in. I never had a problem with the rod falling down, it always sticks to the bottom of the distributor haha. This van has such a clean install it looks factory but I don't think it is. Yeah if you find a factory cast iron 4v intake and get a stock 4v carb it would be a nice difference. When I stomp on it you can here the secondaries kick in and when tuned right its awesome, it gives it somewhat of a boost.

Grill is back in, cleaned some spots up, started working on my other hood to get ready for paint. I took a picture of the date marking on the wiper motor too.

I need power brakes and the power steering pump and reservoir too.
How'd you wire the electronic ignition, the lead to the box needs to be non resisted?
