Unfortunately even though the van was FREE you started way behind. There was a good reason for the van being free.
The huge down side/FACT about vans is they really do not bring what car do in the same shape and condition.
At your asking price there are a bunch out there for the same price in better condition.

Sorry,I would unload the girl friend first.....

yeah, that. Fact is, even if you sell it, your chances of replacing it with something of comparable condition for the money are iffy. why not just keep it and fix it as you get time. If it runs good, just drive it

This thing runs like brand new. Although, I think it needs a new tensioner for the serpentine belt. Even though I have a new belt on, the engine still lets out a little squeal on startup.

I have decided that once I get my new Astro/Safari here, I am going to rent a garage or storage unit, and I am going to swap the sheet metal (door, fenders, valance, and bumpers), bondo the few little places she needs it, and lay some paint down on her. I would think once all that is accomplished, I should be able to get about 22-2500 out of her. I know this is a hard way to go, but in the end this will be the best option.
