I have wanted to visit that city for a long time now, and knowing that there is a Chevy Van and Vanners there gives more incentive to do it!
You will love this site--just be patient. Not all the members are here all the time and sometimes you have to just search through the archives and you will probably find many things to help you with your Van. Are you planning on customizing the interior too?
So--for you later on, I will have some Vodka in my soapstone glass from Finland while sitting in my Chevy Van, reading my book about Peter the Great (or maybe Katherine!) and hope no bears come out of the woods in the back yard to join me!! (our dog looked like a bear cub when he was a pup--does that count?)
Cherish your friends! HUGGS to all! Suzie

If you want visit St-Petersburg - just send me message and I will do all for serving your visit! Really, it's very interresting to check diffirence between USA ans ex-USSR!
Yeah, we have here some Vanners, but it's really strong community - a lot of memebers are young and we try to learn more about Van Culture. A lot of us try to restore original exteriors and interiors of our vans.
I will explain, why my generation love old US cars and trucks - you know about USSR, iron curtain etc - and all this sh*t were destroyed in 1991 and flow of US movies, video games, music etc rush into our country. In this flow we found a lot of your National Ideas, one of them was Freedom with old solid trucks, highways, big cities... And for years it became our obsession - the big US car)))

That is real cool about vanning in Russia. I like the wheels on your van, if you can't find the rings you like those will still look real good. Some polish and they will shine! Keep us informed of your progress. from sunny (we never see snow) Florida 98 LS1 Corvette motor and tranny, Dakota managed air ride, 4 link, monster notch, full tub.

Sounde is amazing! (by the way, I have no mufflers now) The bad news - oil pressure is about zero. Is it mean that I need to remove engine from van, open it, fix? yeah! But if I will remove engine, I must to repair it all, and it may costs about 3000$...Really, I dont know what I must to do now | | |
