I want something like this ring on Suburban: But I dont know any info about this rings and is it possible to find same ring for 8 dowels? You are kind of limited to the styles of 8 lug/dowel, wheels/rings. Finding a company to ship to you might also be a problem..... You can try to clean the wheels up real good that are on your van right now. chrome polish SOS pads will do a good job cleaning those wheels...... As far as the carburetor goes a picture of the top of your engine will be very help full to give you advice there...... .......Wookee

You can't imagine how it's difficult to repair US cars here! Shipping costs and custom fees very high!Road charges increase depending on volumetric capability - but here you may make papers for car vith 7.4 L V8 where will be stated "1.2 L, 110 hp". So, all balanced)))) | | | Re: Chevrolet Beauville G30 '79 Vannin' in Russia. | Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 1,593 veteran | veteran Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 1,593 | that starter may not fit your van - depending on how the Goodwrench motor is drilled - some blocks had the starter bolt holes side-by-side, and others were diagonal - your starter is diagonal - if you go under the van on the passenger side and look at your starter from beneath, you'll know right away if it's correct...

Thanks for joining the forum and showing us your van. It's very cool that you have decided to buy an old American vehicle, especially a van. Is it your daily driver (used in the winter also)? How high are gas prices in St. Petersburg? If gasoline is too expensive, have you considered an LPG installation? I'm glad you got your starter problem sorted out, and hopefully you'll find a good source for parts.
I'm not too far from you, in Warsaw.

I need to fix or change carburettor and fix some problems with exhaust system and I will ready to go!
Really, I'm a petrol nerd, I dont like LPG or diesel. In Russia petrol cost not too much - it's about 0.8$/0.6Euro per liter. But quality is bad!I must to change fuel filter very often.
It's my secord car, I have also Suzuki Vitara '93, really useful car during russian winter!=)))

I just added fuel (Euro Super 95 octan) in my Volswagen Caddy Maxi to extend the time 'til the next complete refueling (I had two prepaid cards with a total value of 20 Euro) and payed 1.53 € per Liter :-( | | |
