Rear window defroster.

OK, this is my Grand Marquis, not my van. The piece where the rear window defroster plugs into the electrical system has broken off on one end. It looks like it was soldered but it could have been some adhesive. I will post pics later when there is more light. Just wondering if anyone has fixed one of these before.

Finally got back. What a day. Here's what I was talking about.

IF I remember right, those are a special LOW TEMP solder and there are places that can fix them, I do not know if a DIYer can do it at home or not. . . .SORRY, I know, not much help.. . . NEXT!

I once saw a link on how to repair the grid, his was a break out in the middle, google it.

I had a 98 Chrysler Sebring did the same thing, it was soldered on window and I was able to re-solder it myself..
