So let no one tell you different. Heck my Dodge B200 rides like a car. Cruises on the freeway 65-70 mph with no problem, I sometimes forget I am driving a large box on wheels. Yet with the sway bar and heavier shocks it also handles pretty good. Need pics!!!!!

It is better to have Van'd once in your life, then to never had Van'd at all! | | | Re: My first Dodge | Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 1,139 old hand | OP old hand Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 1,139 | I am going to rebuild the front end, it still has all original parts. 144,000 miles. A sway bar and some shocks wont hurt. It's a Tradesman 200, 3/4 ton I assume!! I'm going to use the stock exhaust manifolds for now, dual it in to the side pipes.I guess to make a cold air intake, i will just run a tube up front, to get some cooler air. The dash is so easy to work on, you can get to everything with a few screws. Whats up with the gas tank, the filler is mid tank, it blows back a little when filling. Why cant GM put the fuel sensor right out where you can get to it, Man that is so simple, right on the back!! Plastic tank, a little cheap, but I guess it works. "No rust in the tank". It does have a very simple interior design, it will be easy to do the interior. I posted a pic on the vanning.com FB site, still too complicated to do it here. Ordering 5 piece flare kit this week, (discount trucknvans) the on site I see them on. I will buy wheels and spacers, after the flares, to make them look right. Thanks so much for the comments, they will help.Keep em coming!!

THe fuel tank sending unit on the top of the tank is a pain, but you got the optional 36 gallon plastic tank! These are actually more desirable than the metal tanks. A 200 should be a 3/4 ton, yeah.
Windows- they're what make a van worth owning! | | |
