Non AC Econoline's had vents Reed, a friend in school had a nice E-150 shorty with a 351w in it, had a couch in the back along the drivers side wall, no seat belts, was from his grandma's house. LoL

Ah, thanks. I guess I just haven't been looking close enough.

Windows- they're what make a van worth owning!

I'll check that out, thanks for the tidbit!

The debris buildup causes the cowl to rust out and causes serious water leaks through the floor vent. I doubt that your van draws its fresh are from the cowl though. I would check the firewall and windshield for leaks.

I have this feeling I might have to pull the drivers fender, and if that is the case, I am gonna wanna change the whole front end (look out for that angry g/f, you think shes pissed now.. lmfao).

Probably not a bad idea. Once you get the new front end swapped on, get some fine grade sandpaper and some of those Dupli-Color rattle cans and paint the van all one color. Your lady friend might not be so negative about the van if it was all one color.

She *claims* she likes it ( I call BS) but anyways, I think her problem as she tells me is the $ going out on it. I am in the ol girl now about a grand with all the parts I have put on (rough guess). I estimate probably another grand out for front end, misc parts, paint and finishing the interior walls. The seats are a different story. I might stuff new foam in them and throw seat covers down. That way they are good to go for awhile.
