You might have a leaky windshield but I have never seen a kick panel vent in a 75-91 Ford, even ones without A/C. Then again, maybe I wasn't looking hard enough. Can you post a picture?

I circled the area and pointed to where it drips between the wall and plastic. There are 4 screws I see, 3 of which are accessible. | | | Re: My FREE '87 Econo I drove 350 miles home (57 Pics) | Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 12,107 Likes: 37 Maniac | Maniac Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 12,107 Likes: 37 | Huh. I've seen those on Dodges, never on a Ford. I learn something new every day. If water is dripping out of that are, then I would track down where that vent gets its air supply and check for leaks there. I know on may Mopar vehicle that have a similar vent (NOT the vans though), the vent draws its air from the cowl area under the wipers. This is also a common area for rust to leaf and debris buildup. The debris buildup causes the cowl to rust out and causes serious water leaks through the floor vent. I doubt that your van draws its fresh are from the cowl though. I would check the firewall and windshield for leaks.

I can see I have accomplished a lot. There is so much to do, but I will chip at it bit by bit. | | | Re: My FREE '87 Econo I drove 350 miles home (57 Pics) | Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 2,892 veteran | veteran Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 2,892 | Looks great, your van looks like mine except mines a shorty. I took off the chrome around windshield and it was full of leaves and sticks, and something i didnt know but under the chrome , theres a hole in each corner to get rid of the water, it drains down into the cowl area, they need to be kept clean i was told.
