Lots of Dodge vans in them. I have seen many with AC. Good luck. If memory serves, it is a copy of the original 60's dies with newer internals.
There is another made by Hot Rod Air (I think) that looks very similar to the Mustang under dash dealer air. Similar to what you have shown but with round outlets.
If I keep my '77 long enough, I am planning on trying to fit the smaller Gen II unit behind the dash with their trunk system in the rear. It would require loosing some glove box space (or all of it), but would fit behind the dash. Then just add some under dash vents or find a factory A/C vent panel. | | | Re: A few pix of my '75 Dodge blank canvas Van | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 3,586 Likes: 1 pooh-bah | pooh-bah Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 3,586 Likes: 1 | Van looks great , nice and clean . Good luck with it . | | | Re: A few pix of my '75 Dodge blank canvas Van | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 1,105 Likes: 1 old hand | OP old hand Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 1,105 Likes: 1 | Well after my wife stopped repeating " what have we got into" I explained what needed to be done. Now I am officially looking for a dash with factory A/C. OK from what I have learned here is that a '71 to '77 will work for a '75 and to look closely at campers/RV's with Dodge van cabs because they are the likely source of all the parts I need for factory A/C. Am I correct? Please anyone chime in. So now I am compiling a list of yards around my area and will be making the calls soon.

Some were built off of the "Sportsman" trim line (read: passenger van) and would probably have what you are looking for. Also look for just regular Sportsman or Royal Sportsman vans as these will probably have all the factory stuff. You can always go with a modern compressor rather than using that big old V2 compressor that weighs about a ton!

I have my list with Natetheskate's recommends and will be calling wrecking yards soon. I feel a little better, I just received my NOS Venturi Vent (Amber Tint), battery tray (not to soon almost rotted out), engine cover seal and the six front door bumpers (3 each side). As for the Battery tray it looks to be welded. Is this the case? Has anyone replaced one before? I have never seen one welded. I hope I don't have to take it to a body shop for them to cut and weld the new one in. Please tell me that's not the case.

You know what I mean? Should be a neat-o project.
