The scoop came from the van shop in the UK I went to their little lock up in an industrial estate in the middle of knowhere and bought up any retro van stuff I could find. That was about 5 years back.

I cannot tell from the pics, but i would be sure i could acces the inside of the scoop just in case some random bits of whatever get in there. By the way-nice project. Should be one of the more comfortable rigs when you get done-and still run a decent 1/4 mile. win win in my book.

What part of Dublin are you moving to? It’d be great to hook up when you’re over. Is there any info you need before you get here? I’ll PM you my contact details.

I'm going on exchange to UCD from Aug-Dec and I might possibly extend it to make it a full year. I'm going to be living on campus so I shouldn't be to far from you. I'm pretty excited to go, I've never been but my father was born in Dublin so I'm in the process of getting my citizenship and passport worked out now. If i think of any questions don't worry you will be the first one I ask haha.

Needs a van badly...willing to take a free one just ask ;)

The van is running but still cutting out under load. I have everything I need to stick the edelbrock carb on if that doesn't sort it I have a replacement torque convertor ready to go on if thats where the problem lies. Just need time to do it all now. While I've been waiting on parts I've been getting the hood scoop finished. It's got undercoat on it now a bit more sanding stopping and painting and it should be good.
