Howdy - I'm trying to find some history on my '76 Chevy G10 van, Eagle Mania, and I just found on ebay the July 1983 Truckin' magazine has listed a feature on a '76 Chevy G10 with the same name. Does anyone have this issue, and can you tell me what if that's my van? It just took the "Best Paint" award at the Greenwood Car Show in Seattle, with over 850 cars present. Not too shabby for the first showing since I've owned it. I've heard from a bunch of local WA old-timers that a guy named Ron Johnson built this van in 1976, but I have NO photos, articles or anything on it. Any history would be welcomed!thanks - JT

Yep, your van is in that issue of Truckin, better snatch that one up! Pgs. 53 & 54

It says it was owned by a Ron Johnston of Bellingham, Washington, owner of Customs by Ron Johnston.

It looks just like the pictures you posted, except for the wonderful looking lady posing in the inside to match the one painted on the outside!

Great job on the award. Now you need to bring it to the Nationals!

PS: there was a Jeff Johnston on the staff at Truckin back in those days, maybe he was related.
