We went home, pondered it a little bit, called Taz to get some ideas of cost and what could be done for some items, then called the guy the next day and gave him an offer which he accepted so we went back with the flat bed trailer and picked it up.

Looks pretty sharp. Well, ceot for them huge bay windows. lol

Well if the metal work has been exposed to the weather for that long and still looks that good in pictues it was done right....

Dave,
Why are you saying its a 65 with a 64 front end? If its because the last 2 grills slots are not cut out in the valance I also have a 65 WITHOUT those lower slots cut out. Apparently Chevy used 64 front ends on on early 65's and later cut those 2 lower slots. Of course if the guy told you he put a 64 front end on a 65 well he might have but some early 65's came with 64 front ends from the factory.

That van is SWEET!! and I would definitely call it a barn find and a damn good one with lots of cool mods and like Wookee said they look well done. Good luck with it!!

On the early vans GM had a bad habit if using all of there left over parts into the following modle year.
