If its because the last 2 grills slots are not cut out in the valance I also have a 65 WITHOUT those lower slots cut out. Apparently Chevy used 64 front ends on on early 65's and later cut those 2 lower slots. Of course if the guy told you he put a 64 front end on a 65 well he might have but some early 65's came with 64 front ends from the factory.
That van is SWEET!! and I would definitely call it a barn find and a damn good one with lots of cool mods and like Wookee said they look well done. Good luck with it!!
